St. Joseph Scholars visit the Cincinnati Recycling and Reuse Hub

St. Joseph Scholars visit the Cincinnati Recycling and Reuse Hub

St. Joseph Scholars spent the day serving and learning at the Cincinnati Recycling and Reuse Hub.  Scholars sorted recyclables, “shopped” for reusable items, and learned about ways that they can be more sustainable in their daily lives.

The visit to the Cincinnati Recycling and Reuse Hub is one example of the unique opportunities afforded to St. Joseph Scholars. The Saint Joseph Scholars Program, named in honor of the sisters who founded our school, challenges academically high-achieving students to discover and develop their intellectual skills, put their curiosity and creativity to work, analyze problems through the lens of our Catholic faith, and meet the challenge of becoming compassionate leaders.

Read more about the Scholars’ visit in sophomore Amanda Braig’s McNicholas Milestone article.

The McNicholas Milestone is McNicholas High School's official online newspaper, written by students for students.
