We received the results from the Scholastic Art Awards, and we are thrilled to celebrate the incredible talent of our students.
This year, McNicholas students earned multiple regional honors across a variety of artistic disciplines, showcasing their creativity, skill, and dedication.
Most excitingly, Madison McPherson '26 earned a Gold Key for her work, Contact Solution Dispenser & Holder in Architecture & Industrial Design. This top regional honor advances her work to the National Scholastic Art Awards competition, an outstanding achievement and a proud moment for our school community!
Additional student recognitions include:
-
Reilly Mountel '26 received a Silver Key for the photography piece Concert, under the guidance of Sarah Nestheide.
-
Jonah Dorich '29 earned an Honorable Mention for the sculpture The Struggles to Success.
All awarded pieces will be on display downtown at the Art Academy, giving the public a chance to experience our students’ exceptional work firsthand.
