Rockets excel on Advanced Placement Tests

Congratulations to our 65 students who were recognized by the College Board's Advanced Placement (AP) Program for scoring a 3 or higher on three or more AP tests this spring. Of this group of talented students, 32 were named AP Scholars with Distinction, 16 were named AP Scholars with Honor, and 17 were named AP Scholars. 

The McNicholas AP program challenges our highly motivated students to find their academic brilliance, offering 22 on-campus AP courses. 92% of our students received a score of 3 or higher on 288 AP tests taken this year.

Granted to students who receive an average of at least 3.5 on all AP Exams taken, and scores of 3 or higher on five or more of these exams

    Class of 2026 Shines at Arts Signing Day

    Yesterday, we celebrated our talented arts students during Arts Signing Day. The Class of 2026 includes seven students earning the Ohio Arts Honor Diploma, twelve students who studied art all four years at McNicholas, and nine students who will continue their education in an arts-related field. Congratulations to these talented young people!

    Jolene Esz Named AACC Teacher of the Year

    For Jolene Esz, teaching has never been just a job. It is a calling rooted in community, service, and a deep commitment to helping students grow. This year, that dedication was recognized in a meaningful way as she was named Anderson Area Chamber of Commerce Teacher of the Year.
