Rocket musicians earn OMEA ratings and perform in Honor Band

Congratulations to the Rocket band members who earned state ratings in the Ohio Music Education Solo & Ensemble Competition as well as our students who represented McNicholas in the OMEA District 14 Honor Band.  

Members of our band competed with students from all over Hamilton County for state ratings based on their performances in front of an adjudicator. Rockets were awarded Superior, Excellent, and Good ratings in both solo and ensemble categories.   

Juniors Matt Irvine and Colin Koran also both performed with the Honor Band earlier this month after being selected from over 650 students who auditioned back in November.

    McNicholas Recognizes Academic Top Ten for the Class of 2026
    McNicholas High School proudly celebrates the Academic Top Ten of the Class of 2026, recognizing students who have demonstrated exceptional achievement in the classroom while making a lasting impact on the school community through leadership, service, and involvement.

    Class of 2026 Shines at Arts Signing Day

    Yesterday, we celebrated our talented arts students during Arts Signing Day. The Class of 2026 includes seven students earning the Ohio Arts Honor Diploma, twelve students who studied art all four years at McNicholas, and nine students who will continue their education in an arts-related field. Congratulations to these talented young people!
