National Art Honor Society inducts newest members for commitment to the arts

Congratulations to the 24 art students who were inducted into the National Art Honor Society (NAHS).

NAHS inspires and recognizes exceptional students whose talent, dedication, and academic excellence have set them apart as they have demonstrated both artistic mastery and a deep commitment to their craft.

"We celebrate the achievements of these students and look forward to the impact they will make in their prospective fields," Art Department Chair, Ms. Mel Gaskins, said. "Their passion for the arts and design will undoubtedly shape the creative world in meaningful ways."

Candidates for the National Art Honor Society are invited by the Art Department to apply to the society based on their artistic skill, commitment to art, and academic standing. They are required to have a minimum of two semesters in art coursework and maintain a minimum 93% average in art courses.
