McNicholas High School Names New President: Robert Noll, III

McNicholas High School Names New President: Robert Noll, III

The following is a letter from McNicholas Board of Limited Jurisdiction Chair, Rick Oberschmidt.

Dear Members and Friends of the McNicholas Community,

It is with great joy and gratitude to God, on behalf of the Board of Limited Jurisdiction and the Presidential Search Committee, to welcome Mr. Robert Noll, III as the incoming president of Archbishop McNicholas High School.

After a comprehensive and prayerful search, the Committee – comprised of board members, alumni, educators, and parents – is confident that Mr. Noll, our current principal, is the right leader for this next chapter. He brings a deep commitment to Catholic education, a wealth of leadership experience, and a sincere passion for nurturing faith, excellence, and service within our school community.

Current President, Dr. Denver Stanfield, shared:

“Mr. Noll has a distinguished background in Catholic education and having worked along side him for the past two years, I have witnessed his dedication to McNicholas High School, his compassion for our students, and his vast leadership abilities. He is an excellent choice to lead McNicholas into the future. He will work closely with our administrative staff, faculty, and the Office of Catholic Schools to continue our tradition of academic excellence and spiritual formation.”

Mr. Noll is a lifelong educator, bringing 38 years of experience as a teacher and administrator in the Greater Cincinnati area. He began his career as a Theology teacher and has dedicated 27 years to serving in Catholic schools. He earned his M.Ed. from Northern Kentucky University and holds his School Administration and Superintendent Licenses from Xavier University. He is also a graduate of the Harvard Manager Mentors Leadership Program.

Mr. Noll expressed his excitement about this opportunity:

“I am thrilled to be part of the exciting future of McNicholas. I look forward to this new challenge and offering my gifts and experience to sustain the tremendous energy within our community. I look forward to providing consistency within our administrative team and supporting our academic leadership and faculty. I am proud to be a McNicholas Rocket and am committed to helping us all continue to grow toward Full Stature in Christ.”

We are honored to welcome Mr. Noll as our second president under the President-Principal model. A minister of our Catholic faith, Mr. Noll has developed a deep love for the mission and community at McNicholas. We also want to thank Dr. Denver Stanfield for his dedication and leadership for the past three years. With enrollment at a 16-year high, we look forward to building on our momentum of growth and success.

Please keep our school community in your prayers as we embark on this exciting new chapter—grounded in faith, guided by inspired leadership, and confident in God’s providence.

Sincerely,

Rick Oberschmidt, Chair
