McNicholas celebrates the Class of 2026

McNicholas celebrates the Class of 2026

Congratulations to our newest graduates who received their diplomas at the Cintas Center on Tuesday, May 19th.

The Class of 2026 was celebrated for their accomplishments in academics, leadership, faith, service, athletics, and the arts throughout their four years at McNicholas. From their first days walking through the halls as freshmen to their final moments together as seniors, these Rockets have left a lasting impact on the McNicholas community.

Student-appointed faculty speaker Mrs. Angie Noble reflected on the growth she witnessed in the Class of 2026 throughout their time at Rocket High. She recalled watching the class arrive as uncertain freshmen before growing into confident leaders who embraced opportunities to serve others, lead organizations, excel in the classroom, and strengthen the McNicholas community.

Mrs. Noble encouraged graduates to embrace the next chapter of their lives with confidence and compassion. “We reinvent ourselves every four years; embrace it and grow from it,” she shared. “Follow this new path by using all that McNicholas has given you – faith development in a loving Catholic community; strong academics; support from teachers, friends, families; and opportunities to find your passion, to find your brilliance, and to share it with others.”

She also challenged students to remain open to others and to lead with empathy and understanding. Drawing on lessons from the literature studied during their time at McNicholas, she reminded graduates of the importance of speaking up for others, treating people with dignity and respect, and using their voices for good.

“As graduates of McNicholas, I pray that you will use what you’ve learned at McNick and from our founders, the Sisters of St. Joseph, and that you will continue to serve others, seek global awareness, treat each other with the dignity we each deserve, live with purpose and integrity, and that you will love,” Noble said.

The ceremony celebrated not only the achievements of the Class of 2026 but also the bright futures that await these Rockets as they continue to live out the mission and values of McNicholas High School. View the full graduation ceremony here.
