McNicholas celebrates the Class of 2022

Congratulations to our newest graduates who received their diplomas at the PromoWest Pavilion at Ovation on Sunday, May 22.

Student Body President Lauren Keith, Valedictorian Andrew Collette, and English Teacher Mr. Jeff Mulvey were nominated by the Class of 2022 to speak at the graduation ceremony.

Lauren challenged her classmates to continue to be creative, especially when they find themselves in difficult situations and reminded them that they will always have a home at McNicholas: “Because McNick has properly taught us how to love and how to be loved, the person to the right of you, to left of you, in front of you, and behind you genuinely cares about you. These are your brothers and sisters…Just as Father Kevin said in his homily two days ago, ‘You will always have a home at 6536 Beechmont Avenue’ and you will always have your family within that home.”

After the awarding of diplomas, Mr. Mueller sent the graduates forth, saying, “We have been truly blessed with the intellect, talents, energy, dedication and enthusiasm of these young adults. They have grown in faith, academic excellence, and compassionate leadership. As we send them forth as alumni, we ask the Lord to bless each of them in all their future endeavors and to help them to continue to grow towards Full Stature in Christ.”

Where Art Comes Alive: McNicholas Students Explore Italy, France, and Belgium

Some of life's greatest lessons cannot be found in a textbook. They are discovered standing beneath the ancient arches of the Colosseum, gazing up at masterpieces in Vatican City, or watching the sun set along the Seine River. This spring, 43 McNicholas students experienced those moments firsthand, returning home with a deeper appreciation for art, history, culture, and the world around them.

A Friendship Without Borders: McNicholas Celebrates Its First Sister School Exchange with Argentina

Nine McNicholas students traveled to Buenos Aires this summer for the school's first Sister School Exchange with Instituto Nuestra Señora de Las Nieves, building on friendships formed when Argentine students visited McNicholas earlier this year. Through living with host families, attending classes, and experiencing Argentina's rich culture and history, students discovered that the most meaningful lessons come from stepping beyond their comfort zones and embracing connections that transcend borders.

McNicholas Celebrates 16 College Athletic Signees

McNicholas proudly recognized 16 student-athletes from the Class of 2026 who have committed to continue their academic and athletic careers at the collegiate level.
