Eight members of the Class of 2025 recognized by National Merit Scholarship Corporation

Along with our National Merit Semifinalist: Grace Reuss, seven additional members of the senior class have been recognized by the National Merit® Scholarship Corporation (NMSC) program as Commended Students: Braden Bobo, Jonathan Byrum, Steven Horne, Evelyn Hurlburt, Colin Koran, Tyler Munzel, and Jacob Smith.  

"I am so proud of these eight students," Principal Bob Noll said. "This is confirmation of their hard work, focus, and commitment to excellence as they grow toward full stature with Christ!"

NMSC identifies and honors academically talented U.S. high school students and encourages them to pursue rigorous college studies.

National Merit Semifinalist, Grace Reuss, has advanced to Finalist standing! Grace is one of 15,000 students to advance nationally, representing less than 1% of the nation's high school graduating seniors.

    Class of 2026 Shines at Arts Signing Day

    Yesterday, we celebrated our talented arts students during Arts Signing Day. The Class of 2026 includes seven students earning the Ohio Arts Honor Diploma, twelve students who studied art all four years at McNicholas, and nine students who will continue their education in an arts-related field. Congratulations to these talented young people!

    Jolene Esz Named AACC Teacher of the Year

    For Jolene Esz, teaching has never been just a job. It is a calling rooted in community, service, and a deep commitment to helping students grow. This year, that dedication was recognized in a meaningful way as she was named Anderson Area Chamber of Commerce Teacher of the Year.
