Boys Volleyball reaches first-ever OHSAA State Final Four

On Saturday, May 20, the Boys Volleyball Team made history by defeating the Badin Rams to take the Division II Regional Championship and advance to the inaugural OHSAA Boys Volleyball Final Four.

The OHSAA Board of Directors voted unanimously to add boys’ volleyball to its roster of sanctioned sports, starting with the 2022-23 school year. The Rockets, led by head coach Julie Mulvey ’92, faced off in the first-ever semifinals against Akron St. Vincent - St. Mary. The Rockets did not come out on top in the semi-final but will go down in history as members of the first Final Four.

    Yesterday, we celebrated our talented arts students during Arts Signing Day. The Class of 2026 includes seven students earning the Ohio Arts Honor Diploma, twelve students who studied art all four years at McNicholas, and nine students who will continue their education in an arts-related field. Congratulations to these talented young people!
