Architecture student’s pasta bridge holds over 14 pounds
At McNicholas, we build bridges...but sometimes we break them too! Ms. Gaskins’s Architectural Drafting students designed, constructed, and then tested the strength of their spaghetti bridges. Junior Caroline Mohahan’s brilliant design was the strongest, holding 14.1 pounds!

Twenty-four McNicholas High School seniors and four staff members answered Christ's call to serve on the Appalachia Encounter Retreat in September by partnering with three community-focused nonprofits in rural eastern Tennessee.

The first CREW Mass of the 2026-2027 school year at McNicholas High School was marked with the dedication of a new portable altar, generously designed and donated by alumnus Ken Serger, ’69. Serger attended the dedication with family and fellow alumni from his class.
