2025 Mardi Gras Court announced

Congratulations to seniors Tyler Munzel and Katherine Noble who have been named Captain and Maid of Honor of the 73rd annual Mardi Gras Ball. 

This announcement officially kicks off the Mardi Gras season at McNicholas which culminates in the annual Mardi Gras Pageant on Sunday, Feb. 16. 

The Mardi Gras Pageant and Ball, the most prestigious students event of the year at McNicholas, honors 40 senior students who have given their time and talents in service to the school and community throughout their high school experience. During the evening ceremonies, a Mardi Gras King and Queen will be crowned.

    Yesterday, we celebrated our talented arts students during Arts Signing Day. The Class of 2026 includes seven students earning the Ohio Arts Honor Diploma, twelve students who studied art all four years at McNicholas, and nine students who will continue their education in an arts-related field. Congratulations to these talented young people!

    For Jolene Esz, teaching has never been just a job. It is a calling rooted in community, service, and a deep commitment to helping students grow. This year, that dedication was recognized in a meaningful way as she was named Anderson Area Chamber of Commerce Teacher of the Year.
