HSPT

The Archdiocese of Cincinnati requires all 8th grade applicants to take the High School Placement Test (HSPT).

Students may take the HSPT at any high school and designate 3 schools to which to send their scores. McNicholas High School is a testing site.

HSPT Registration

Registration for the HSPT closes November 16, 2022. Students sign-up through the Archdiocese registration portal:

Register
Students with accommodations will need to indicate a request for accommodations on the registration site, complete a separate form detailing accommodations requests, and forward accommodation plans to the school in which he/she chooses to take the test.

HSPT Test Prep

Crescendo Cincinnati is offering practice tests and a test prep course at McNicholas to help students prepare for the HSPT.  We're sorry! We cannot accept any more registrations for the HSPT Test Prep because our course is full.

Listen to our students explain why they feel so at home at McNicholas High School.

We love McNick! The sense of community, faith based education, collective leadership of the school, longevity of key teachers, and focus on communication in classes were the top reasons we chose to send our sons here.Suzette, parent of Class of '22 and '24
