Scholarships at McNicholas

Scholarship Opportunities for McNicholas Class of 2025

McNicholas believes in providing opportunities for students with a wide range of passions and talents. We are excited to announce that McNicholas will be offering three types of scholarships this year for the incoming class of 2025.

Priority Application Deadline: November 15, 2020. 

Student must submit an admissions application to McNicholas by December 1, 2020 to qualify for a scholarship.

Merit Scholarships—awarded based on grade school performance and records. McNicholas will be increasing the number of merit scholarships awarded this year. No additional application is required. Essay from your admission application will be reviewed as part of scholarship consideration.

Students may apply for more than one Named Scholarship and ONE Find Your Brilliance scholarship.

Named Scholarships—awarded based on review of written scholarship application, with qualifications specified by our generous scholarship donors. All named scholarships listed on the scholarship application form require additional information and qualifications. 

Alumni Association “Heritage” Award - (Child or grandchild of a McNicholas or St. Joseph Academy graduate)

McNicholas Caddie Scholarship - (Current Caddie)

McNicholas Marching Band Scholarship - (Requires audition with McNicholas Band Director)

Military Memorial Scholarship - (Demonstrated leadership and patriotism)

Polly Powers Sandmann Memorial Scholarship - (McNicholas S.A.I.L. program participant)

Lt. David Wolfangel Memorial Scholarship - (Parent is an EMT, police officer, firefighter, or nurse)

Find Your Brilliance Scholarships— McNicholas is dedicated to guiding students to find their brilliance through inspiration and support from teachers and classmates. McNicholas Find Your Brilliance Scholarships attract and reward members of the Class of 2025 who have already demonstrated brilliance – students who are proven thought and action leaders committed to setting the pace for excellence for their classmates. These scholarships are renewable for four years as long as recipients demonstrate continuing growth as positive examples for their classmates.  We invite students to apply for a scholarship in ONE of these categories of brilliance.  Show us the area in which your brilliance shines the brightest!
