On Monday, August 22 and Tuesday, August 23, McNicholas welcomed its 65th freshmen class to campus. The Class of 2020 has 132 members proud to call themselves the newest Rockets.
During orientation, the students visited each of their classes and learned their way around school. They attended sessions to familiarize themselves with their tablets and reviewed the rules and regulations that make things run smoothly around campus. Senior Peer Mentors helped the freshmen with directions and guidance on being a new student on campus.
“I could really sense that the Class of 2020 were proud to be Rockets,” Christina Mullis, Director of Admissions, said. “It is really exciting to see these students come in as 8th graders to shadow and not be sure where they are going to high school and then see them on this first day as a Rocket. They are now all in!”
