The Hour of Code is a global movement by Computer Science Education Week and Code.org reaching tens of millions of students in 180+ countries through a one-hour introduction to computer science and computer programming. From December 3 to 7, McNicholas High School sponsored daily computer history trivia questions at announcements and computer science activities in the library at lunch. Mrs. Materna used some of the activities with math classes, and all of Mrs. Esz’s students had the opportunity to create their own cell phone apps during their block day class.
