Assistant Director of Admissions
McNicholas High School seeks a full-time Assistant Director of Admissions, an energetic and personable self-starter devoted to helping students and parents realize that they cannot miss taking advantage of the excellent Catholic co-ed education at McNicholas.  Essential professional skills include oral and written communication; experience in organizing and implementing special events; expertise in cultivating relationships with students and adults, including leaders of Catholic parishes and elementary schools; familiarity with best practices for social media content in marketing high schools; a strong work ethic; and teamwork.  Familiarity with Catholic education in the Cincinnati area is preferred.  Availability to work during some evenings and weekends is a must.  Additional considerations include proficiency in Microsoft Office software and data management tools.  Please send a resume and cover letter to Mrs. Pat Farwick, Assistant to the Principal, at pfarwick@mcnhs.org

Accounting Assistant
McNicholas High School seeks a full-time Accounting Assistant responsible for the administration of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Tuition Coordination. The Accounting Assistant will assist faculty, staff, parents, vendors, and volunteers with clear communication of Finance processes, policies and procedures, and troubleshooting – all in support of the school mission to inspire young men and women, through faith formation and academic excellence, to become compassionate leaders and grow toward Full Stature in Christ. The Accounting Assistant reports to the Director of Finance. QUALIFICATIONS:

· Associate (Bachelor preferred) degree in accounting, finance, or business

· Three or more years of relevant experience

· Daily experience working with Excel and Excel functions

· Knowledge of bookkeeping/accounting practices

· Working knowledge of e-mail applications, word processing, and payroll applications

 

REQUIRED SKILLS:

· Excellent time management and organizational skills

· Incredible attention to detail

· Top of the line math abilities

· Understanding of data privacy needs

· Reasoning abilities to solve practical problems with multiple variables

· Commitment to follow school policies and support school mission

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Review, accept, and process Receivables daily for multiple fund accounts

· Review, accept, and process Payables in adherence to established processes

· Process credit card transactions and input into financial software

· Reconcile multiple checking and savings accounts monthly

· Calculate, review, and submit sales tax monthly

· Report tuition delinquencies to Finance Director monthly

· Maintain Finance Office business supplies

· Manage Purchase Orders issued

· Maintain established balance and reconcile USPS account monthly

· Process student registrations, including contacting parents as necessary

· Calculate and enter student balances into tuition management system

· Input financial aid awards into tuition management system

· Assist faculty, staff, families, vendors, and volunteer groups with relevant inquiries

· Assist in preparation and distribution of faculty contracts

· Adhere to school financial policies and procedures

· Other duties as assigned
