Top 10 Scholars from Class of 2025 recognized at Academic Signing

Congratulations to the Class of 2025 Top 10! These 10 students have achieved the highest weighted cumulative grade point average up to and including the third quarter of their senior year: Jonathan Byrum, Julia Cheek, Evelyn Hurlburt, Kennedy Kramer, Lila Moeves, Tyler Munzel, Mia Ray, Eric Reinhart, Grace Reuss, and Jordan Wheatley. 

As they move on to their collegiate careers, these Rockets will be challenging themselves in fields like engineering, classics, and mathematics. 

"These 10 students are a testament to the type of students roaming the halls of McNicholas every day, growing in Full Stature and finding their brilliance," Principal Bob Noll said. "Best of luck to these students and all our senior scholarship earners. Your futures are bright!" 

Jonathan is bright, conscientious, and caring. He is academically curious and is willing to work at finding the deeper and better answers. He will be extremely successful in his field of study. Congratulations Jonathan on a tremendous high school career!

Julia's spirit for learning is contagious. She brings humor to the most difficult of tasks, is always looking for ways to grow, and helps bring that encouragement to others as well. Julia carries within her a fiery passion for the future, and there’s no doubt she will blaze a trail for others to follow.

Evie is truly one of a kind. She approaches every challenge with her own unique perspective, finding connections and solutions that others might never see. Her ability to think outside the norm sets her apart and fuels her passion for making the world a better place.

Kennedy approaches every challenge with a heart to understand first—seeing the true nature of a problem and using her God-given gifts to meet the needs of those around her. She carries this thoughtful process into everything she does, and because of that, there is no limit to what she can achieve or who she will impact for the better. 

Lila is truly an unstoppable force. She is always seeking out new challenges, never shying away from the hardest path, knowing that the most valuable things are earned through perseverance. She is a "lamp on the hill," shining brightly for others to see and follow. 

Tyler is a dedicated and hardworking young man with a brilliant mind, always striving to develop his gifts. He has a talent for engineering greatness out of real-life challenges, and in doing so, he has already made the world a better place. He has incredible things ahead of him on his journey. 

Mia is truly a special young women who has always spoken her mind. Her openness and honesty is deeply appreciated. She is confident in who she is, works hard, asks thoughtful questions, and strives for true understanding. Mia recognizes her God-given talents and uses them in service to others. She is a blessing to all who know her. 

Eric is a man of deep character, and he stands as a living example of what it means to live out Full Stature in Christ. He is the perfect blend of being a driven learner and a compassionate leader, both in and out of the classroom. Your future is bright, go let your light shine! 

You can always count on Grace to be a compassionate leader in whatever situation she is placed. She is open to the ideas of others and doesn't show frustration with understanding a concept — she problem-solves until she reaches a conclusion and that will serve her well in the field of engineering. UC is lucky to have her!  

Jordan is a living example of a true Servant Leader, faithfully living out her call to serve. She gives 100% in all things and is always looking to make a positive impact on those around her. She is an observer, a critical thinker, and a leader, and others will learn from her as much as she learns from them.
