Three Rockets named National Merit Finalists

All three seniors who were announced as National Merit Semifinalists in September have advanced to Finalist standing.

Congratulations to our National Merit Finalists Ethan Koran, Erin McManus, and Jason Munzel!

“Three finalists in a school our size is impressive,” Principal David Mueller said. “We are grateful for the hard work of these students and of their teachers and mentors who have guided them along the way.”

As finalists, they will be considered for scholarships offered in spring of 2022. Approximately 7,500 National Merit Scholarships worth nearly $30 million are given annually across the nation.

“We are proud of Ethan, Erin, and Jason and congratulate them and their families on this tremendous honor,” Principal Mueller said. “At McNicholas, we strive to help each student discover his or her God-given brilliance; we are so proud of these three scholars whose hard work has allowed their talents to shine.”
