Senior wrestler signs letter of intent to DI school

Congratulations to student athlete Pierce Taylor who celebrated his intent to continue his athletic career as a Division I wrestler at Ohio University. Pierce is a decorated three-sport athlete and is currently ranked in the Ohio Top 20 for the Class of 2022 wrestlers.

Pierce’s wresting accolades include: 2-time GCL CoEd Wrestler of the Year; 2-time Southwest Ohio Wrestling Coaches Association Wrestler of the Year; 3-time Sectional Champion; District Champion; 2-time State qualifier; top 8 placer at the renowned Pennsylvania Powerade National Invitational; 2021 OHSAA 3rd place finisher at the State Championship.

In addition to wresting, Piece is also a four-year member of the football and baseball programs. He is both an athlete and a scholar, having carried honor roll status throughout his high school career with an overall GPA of 3.9. He is a member of the National Honor Society, the National Society of High School Scholars, and a McNicholas Student Body Vice President.
