Rocket musicians earn Superior and Excellent OMEA ratings

Rocket musicians earn Superior and Excellent OMEA ratings

Congratulations to the Rocket band members who earned Superior and Excellent ratings in the Ohio Music Education Spring Solo & Ensemble Competition!

Band Director Keith Nance said, “The band is a tight group of brilliant students who always work hard and want to represent McNicholas well. It was a challenging year because many of our 20-30 yearly performances weren’t possible because of COVID; I think this makes their accomplishments even more special. We look forward to being back out there next year performing for the McNicholas community and representing our school.”

The band performed some of the music featured in the OMEA competition in their spring concert in the Paradise Pavilion.  The concert also included performances from the guitar class.
