Rockets earn superior and excellent OMEA ratings

Rockets earn superior and excellent OMEA ratings

Congratulations to the Rocket band members who earned superior and excellent ratings in the Ohio Music Education Solo & Ensemble Competition as well as those who represented McNicholas in the Catholic Honor Band during Catholic Schools Week.

Band Director Keith Nance said, “All of the students worked really hard for this competition either on a solo or as part of an ensemble. It's a great experience for them because they have the chance to perform for an OMEA music judge and then receive feedback for their performance and a state rating."

The band continues their hard work as they prepare to perform during all-school Mass on Thursday in celebration of Catholic Schools Week.
