McNicholas science courses featured in Catholic Telegraph

McNicholas made the cover of the January issue of The Catholic Telegraph for its Culinary Chemistry and Food Science courses that foster “an appreciation of God’s gift of food and the know-how behind it.”

Teacher and course architect Mrs. Jessica Boese ’11 said, “I have always loved the science of food…I developed the curriculum alongside a lot of food science professionals and professors. Our labs are not with beakers or test tubes, they’re with food. The kids really like it.”

Our school made history by hosting our first-ever exchange students from Las Nieves High School in Buenos Aires, Argentina. In doing so, we discovered something profound. Home is not just a place.
