McNicholas High School Names New Principal: Paul Romolo

We are pleased to welcome Mr. Paul Romolo as the Principal of McNicholas High School.

Mr. Romolo brings 17 years of experience in Catholic education, all of which have been at McNicholas. He has demonstrated leadership in a variety of roles including Classical Languages Teacher, World Languages Department Chair, CREW Dean, Educational Technology Liaison, Strategic Planning Academic Excellence Committee Co-Chair, OCSAA Licensing Liaison, and Kairos Retreat Director. His wide-ranging contributions reflect his deep commitment to the school's mission and its students.

“I believe Paul will be an exceptional educational leader for our school," President Bob Noll said. "He is well respected among the faculty and his extensive involvement across many facets of McNicholas makes him uniquely qualified to lead our Catholic community. I look forward to working closely with him to help our students and community thrive.”

Mr. Romolo earned both his B.A. and M.Ed. from Xavier University and recently completed the Archdiocese of Cincinnati's Aspiring Leaders Program, which instructs prospective leaders on the essential responsibilities, skills, challenges, and rewards associated with school administration.

"In getting to know Paul through the Aspiring Leaders Program, I always thought he would be a wonderful principal," Director of Leadership Development and Professional Growth for the Archdiocese, Sharon Willmes, said. "He is deeply committed to Catholic education and will be a tremendous asset to your school."

Mr. Romolo and his wife Kate have two children who attend Immaculate Heart of Mary School, where the family are also parishioners. In his free time, Mr. Romolo enjoys reading, watching football, playing disc golf, and hiking.

Welcome, Principal Romolo!
