Welcome home, Rockets! McNicholas celebrates Homecoming

McNicholas is excited to celebrate Homecoming this weekend! We will kick off the celebration with a Homecoming Field Day & Pep Rally on Friday, Oct. 8.

Weather permitting, the pep rally will be held at Penn Station Stadium beginning at 9:45 a.m. Parents are welcome to join us; students will be dismissed at 11:15 a.m.

Sadly, due to a COVID cancellation, we are unable to play the Friday evening Homecoming football game. As such, there will be no on-campus activity on Friday evening.

All McNicholas students are invited to the Homecoming dance on Saturday, Oct. 9 from 8-11 p.m. at the Tri-State Warbird Museum Event Hangar located at 4021 Borman Drive, Batavia, Ohio 45103. The Homecoming King and Queen will be crowned at the dance.

Tickets are $15 each and include parking; ride sharing is encouraged. Tickets for the dance are available for purchase during lunch October 4-7 or online here. Ticket sales end at 5 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 7; they will not be sold at the door.

Students are reminded that appropriate dress and behavior, as outlined in the Expectations for Homecoming Dance sent via email, are required. Masks are also required. Concessions will be available for purchase; cash only.

Congratulations to the members of the Homecoming Court.

In Memoriam: Sr. Judi Keehnen, CSJ

It is with deep sorrow and gratitude that we mourn the passing of Sr. Judi, a beloved member of the McNicholas community for more than five decades. Sr. Judi’s life was a testament to service, faith, and dedication to the mission of the Sisters of St. Joseph.  Her legacy will remain forever imprinted on all who were fortunate enough to know her.
