McNicholas Celebrates a 75th Anniversary Homecoming: Diamonds & Dreams

In continuous celebration of our 75th school year, Rockets will celebrate a Diamonds and Dreams Homecoming.

We will kick off the celebration with a Homecoming Pep Rally on Friday, Sept. 26. Weather permitting, the pep rally will be held at Penn Station Stadium beginning at 11:25 a.m. and will include a tailgate lunch. Parents are welcome to join us. Students will be dismissed at 1 p.m. The library will stay open until 3 p.m. View the entire Friday school schedule here.

The celebration will continue as the Rockets take on the Carroll Patriots during the Homecoming football game at Penn Station Stadium. Kickoff is at 7 p.m. Students are able to enter the game for free with their student IDs.

All McNicholas students are invited to the Homecoming dance on Saturday, Sept. 27 from 8-11 p.m. on campus in the Bogenschutz Gym. Dance tickets are $20 each and are available for purchase online here. Tickets will not be sold at the door.

Students are reminded that appropriate dress and behavior, as outlined in the Expectations for Homecoming Dance sent to students via email, are required. Students wishing to bring guests from other schools must complete the Guest Permission Form and return it to Mr. Losekamp.

Students are permitted to be out of uniform in the following themes for the week leading up to Homecoming. They are reminded to dress school appropriate (no masks, weapons, or gore of any kind even if they pertain to the theme) and, if they choose not to follow the theme, they should be in regular uniform.
