McNicholas announces Special Appeal
Rockets are worth their weight in gold! And as we lean on the luck o’ the Irish during this year’s McNick at Night event, we hope that you will help us fill the pot at the end of the rainbow.
This year’s Special Appeal is for a gift to McNicholas that will benefit our entire community and our guests! Please consider a making a contribution to our HVAC Project which includes…drum roll please…AIR CONDITIONING FOR THE GYM!
Our much-anticipated HVAC Project to overhaul and modernize our electrical, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning begins this summer. Because of the size and scope of the project, it will be completed in two phases during the summers of 2022 and 2023. The Convent will get its upgrade in 2024.
During Phase 1, we will replace the school’s main electric gear and provide much-needed air conditioning for the Larry Bogenschutz Gymnasium, our largest, most-used, and most-versatile gathering space.

Our initial fundraising goal for this vital infrastructure project is $2 million. To date, we have raised $1.6 million, 80% of that goal. And with a little luck and a lot of love from our community, we can go o’er the top with this Special Appeal! Thank you for your generous support!

Art teacher Mr. Willy Corbett will clean his last paintbrush and theatre director Ms. Teresa De Zarn will take her last bow as the 2022-23 school year comes to a close.
Congratulations to our newest graduates who received their diplomas at the PromoWest Pavilion at Ovation on Sunday, May 22. Student Body President Lauren Keith, Valedictorian Andrew Collette, and English Teacher Mr. Jeff Mulvey were nominated by the Class of 2022 to speak at the graduation ceremony.
Students in Mrs. Kendra Lonneman’s personal finance classes learned about the importance of philanthropy and supported pediatric cancer research by participating in the Magnified Giving program.
