Get to Know McNicholas High School
McNicholas High School offers students a rigorous curriculum taught by dedicated faculty. Our students are involved in over 30 clubs and organizations, can earn membership in six different honor societies, can participate in a competitive athletic program, and grow in spirituality through service, retreats, and daily interactions. Shadow Days October 1 - December 14; January 7 - 31; February 12 - 28
Come to our school and visit one-on-one with a McNicholas student who will be your host for the day. Your host will take you to classes and introduce you to his or her classmates. You’ll have a chance to see our teachers in action, ask questions about our school, and meet other great students. Click here for more information.
Friday, Nov. 2 is a Preferred Visit Day. We'll have upperclassmen as well as freshmen hosting students, there's a pep rally planned, and the theatre will be set up for our fall play. Capacity: 40 eighth graders. This date will close early! Deadline to register for Preferred Visit Day is October 26.
Conversation and Coffee
Available to parents on the morning their student shadows at McNicholas, Conversation and Coffee is an opportunity to meet with Lizanne Ingram, Director of Academic Services and Enrollment. Come with questions, or just sit and visit for casual conversation. Sessions typically run from 7:45-8:45 a.m. Please register on the Shadow Day Online Registration Form or by contacting Lizanne Ingram at 231-3500 x5811.
Information Nights October 3 and 4 at 7:00 p.m.
Hear a brief presentation about McNicholas High School, learn about the admissions process, talk to current students and teachers, and take an informal tour of building. The evening begins at 7:00 p.m. in our library.
Open House October 21 11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
If you really want to get a glimpse at who we are, come visit our Open House! Individual tours leave continuously until 1:30 p.m. and are led by our Student Ambassadors. Learn about our programs, meet our teachers and coaches, see the campus, and experience our friendliness and excitement for yourself.
