Financial Aid and Tuition

Tuition for the 2012-2013 school year is $8975. To set up a tuition payment plan, click the FACTS icon below. Current families on FACTS do not need to reapply. Their information will be transferred to 2012-2013. All new families need to open an account with FACTS.

Applying for Financial Aid

Families wishing to apply for financial aid for the 2013-2014 school year must have complete a Private School Aid Service Form (or PSAS), postmarked by December 1, 2012.  We will post the link to the 2013-2014 PSAS as soon as it is available from the Archdiocese of Cincinnati.  Notification of financial aid will be sent to families in January 2013.

Scholarship Awards
Academic Scholarships for incoming freshmen are awarded based on the results of the High School Placement Test given on Nov.17, 2012.  In order to be considered for McNicholas scholarships, students must take the test on this date and mark Archbishop McNicholas High School on the testing form. A make up test date for scholarship consideration at McNicholas High School is available. Please contact Lizanne Ingram at 231-3500 x5811 for details.

Scholarship recipients MUST take honors courses while enrolled at McNicholas and must maintain an unweighted grade point average of 87.5.

Alumni Scholarship
One student in the incoming freshman class is awarded an Alumni Association Award. An Archbishop McNicholas High School alumni parent or grandparent must sponsor the applicant. The Scholarship committee looks for students who demonstrate leadership and commitment to academics. The award is valued at $500. Apply online here.

Military Scholarship
Four students in the incoming freshmen class are awarded a Military Scholarship. Based on the application, the committee will choose the four students who demonstrate leadership, commitment to academics and can demonstrate a sincere sense of patriotism via an essay, which is part of the application process. Those candidates who are part of a military family will be given special consideration. Another criterion for choosing the recipient is financial need. If financial need is part of your application, please complete the PSAS from by December 1, 2012. The award is valued at $1500. Apply online here.
