Grading:  Grades are computed on a point system. Some assignments will demand more time and work to complete; therefore, each assignment will be weighted accordingly.

How to compute your grade: Add up all possible points. Then add up all the points you earned. Divide your total points by the number of possible points. The answer is your percentage grade; the letter grade that corresponds with the percentage grade is listed in your handbook.

An additional grade will be given for class participation. This includes class work, group work participation, involvement in class discussions, and other daily responsibilities.

Late work is unacceptable. Homework will be accepted after the due date only if you are absent. Otherwise, no credit will be given.

All assignments are due at the beginning of class. Any work not received at that time is considered late.

For projects worth 50 points or more:  Five points will be deducted from the final grade for each day the assignment is late. Projects turned in at the end of the day will also have 5 points deducted.

If you are absent on the day of a test, you have 3 days to make up the test after school. This is your responsibility!

Students are responsible for making up work when they are absent. I will not use class time to remind students each time an assignment is missing. Students must take this responsibility upon themselves. Use Edline and get the phone number of two or three students in the class!

Current Assignments/Due Dates: (See Edline for details.)
