Annual Fund

The Annual Fund supports many facets of a private education that tuition alone does not cover. The Annual Fund is a large part of making Archbishop McNicholas High School affordable for our current students and their families. It covers a broad spectrum of needs, ranging from financial aid for deserving students to basic operating expenses. Tuition covers approximately 80% of the full cost of an education at McNicholas. The remaining costs must be made up from other sources, specifically, the Annual Fund.

Counting on Alumni Support

The percentage of alumni who support the Annual Fund is just as important as the amount given. From modest gifts of $25 a year to gifts of more than $100,000, contributions from alumni form the heart of a strong, enriched school. Alumni support is also important in securing corporate and foundation contributions. Many foundations and corporations weigh the alumni participation rate when awarding grants. Every gift is important!

Counting on Friends of the School

Current and past parents, friends of the school and others are invited to make unrestricted gifts each year to the Annual Fund. You need not be an alumnus or family member to recognize the importance of ongoing support to ensure that McNicholas can continue to provide a quality education to students from all financial backgrounds.

Honorarium/Memorial Gifts

Honor or remember a friend or loved one with a gift to the Annual Fund. Send a gift in your loved one's name, and he or she will be recognized in the annual Honor Roll of Donors that is published each fall. While honoring your loved one, you will also be helping educate the young men and women of McNicholas.
