![]()
Introduction:

There are many Spanish-speaking countries in the world. Many of them make very nice places to take a vacation. By the end of this assignment you all are going to be travel experts!
Task:

Find out which Spanish-speaking
countries are best for vacationing. Pretend you are a travel consultant
working for a travel agency and your boss (Ms. Dietz
) has given
you the task of creating an informative brochure that will advertise the reasons
to go and visit this country.
Process:

Do the research. Click on the links under "Resources" below. These will help you to begin searching to find the country you would like to advertise.
Remember it should be very informative. You may want to include information such as location, geography, tourist attraction areas, the capital city, the population, weather, climate, government, money, history, food, natural resources etc.
Using Microsoft Publisher, look under Wizard, Brochures. Chose a style of brochure and start designing and adding information about your country.
Find nice photos of your country and place them in the brochure. (Copy and paste)
Remember you are trying to get customers to visit this country. It should be one that is safe for Americans to travel to. You might want to check for travel warnings at this U.S. Department of State Bureau of Consular affairs website: http://travel.state.gov/ |

You may want to include information on what is needed to travel into the country (passport, visa etc.)
Present your brochure to class. Be prepared to tell the class what you learned from this assignment. |

Evaluation:

Please use your class time wisely.
If you do not complete your assignment during class, you are responsible for completing the assignment outside of class.
I'll be looking to see that your brochure is informative. I'll be checking to see that you included information such as location, geography, tourist attraction areas, the capital city, the population, weather, climate, government, money, history, food, natural resources etc.
It should be visually appealing. Bonus points if you print in color.
Nice photos will make your brochure look great. |
Conclusion:

As a class we will compare and contrast the different countries. We will decide which travel destinations would be the best to recommend to travelers.

¡Buen Viaje!
