Your class is going to put together a "magazine" of articles of famous Hispanics of today.  The title of the magazine is "Hispanos Famosos".

Decide on a famous Hispanic of today.  Sign up with Ms. Dietz as soon as you have decided.  There are links to below to help you get started. 

Using Microsoft Publisher, create a page in a magazine.  Go to Publications by Wizard and then select Newsletter. 

Put the name of your person as the title and be sure to write "By _________ (your name).  Also include the date, class period, subject, Ms. Dietz (No cover page is needed for this assignment.

Be sure to include all sorts of interesting information about your famous Hispanic including date of birth, where they live, likes, dislikes, etc.

Post photos of the person too. 

Be creative when it comes to lead, secondary story headlines, special points of interest etc.

You will turn in a rough draft and final draft.  As soon as you are finished with your first draft, show Ms. Dietz, then make corrections.

Please turn in by due date.

Please use class time wisely.  If you do not finish in class, you will be expected to work on it outside of class.
