Two senior McNicholas art student selected into the Ohio Governor's Youth Art Exhibition in the following categories:
 

275 Artworks in 2007 State Exhibition

At this time 10 of our 10 entrees into the National K-12 Ceramic Juried Exhibition have been accepted for judging for into a final round (keep you posted on what gets in)

 

2006-2007- Overture Awards Competition, Finalist Erin Overmann, Drawing Portfolio (scholarship money awarded)

 

2006-2007- Overture Awards Competition, Honorable Mention Justin Burwinkle, Photography Portfolio

 

Beth Sullentrop (03), to participate in an ceramic artist in residency program/exchange program in Halle, Germany spring quarter of 2007 at the Burg Giebichenstein. Her artist studio is in a castle.

 

Rebecca Curran (04) University of Dayton, Dual Major in Art Education and Ceramics- will be studying abroad in Florence, Italy next fall.

David Munch (04) Ohio University, Majoring in Commercial Photography-He works for the Dayton Daily News – during Christmas he had a front page image- and last year he worked for the Ohio University paper as a photographer. Currently he is applying for an internship at several other papers.


Annie Fugazzi (03) University of Kentucky, Architecture Major and Italian Studies Minor- will be studying abroad in Rome, Italy next fall.

 

Katie Overmann (03) Applying for portfolio review/ceramics this quarter to be admitted into Ohio University BFA Program in ceramics. She will be a dual major in art education
