Philosophy

The members of the Physical Education and Health Department believe that a sound body helps to produce a sound mind.  Fitness and exercise are lifelong pursuits, and good habit fostered today will provide a good foundation for adult wellness.  Health instruction covers a variety of topics, which impact everyday decisions about wellness.  Through this knowledge, students will be able to make informed choices and produce positive, lifelong attitudes about their mental and physical wellbeing.
