Courses and Curriculum

PE I: a semester class required of all freshmen.  This class will focus on the improvement of various physical skills through a variety of individual and team sports.

PE II: a semester class that can be taken sophomore, junior or senior year.  Students will focus on improving their fitness level through running and weight lifting.  One day a week will be an activity period focusing on team sports.

Health: a semester class required of all freshmen.  The focus of the curriculum is an improved level of knowledge about the body and wellness.  Topics include nutrition, the cardiovascular system, sexually transmitted infections, the skeletal system and self-esteem and stress.
