Booster Meeting Minutes
Who We Are
The McNicholas High School Theatre Boosters is a volunteer parent
organization, whose purpose is to promote and support the theatre
department at McNicholas HS. Theatre Boosters provide financial and
human resource support for Thespian Troupe 4737 and the McNicholas
Theatre Department in many ways. In the past, we have purchased
equipment, provided set construction materials, funded
transportation for field trips and subsidized the costs for
attendance to the International Thespian State Conference.
Traditionally, no dues or participation fees are required of any
theatre student.
Boosters
raise funds annually by selling flowers, theatre grams, and
refreshments during productions, hosting raffles, sponsoring the
school talent show and promoting the cookie/popcorn sale. This year
we will be staffing a concession stand at two home Bengal games. We
hope you will be anxious to support our theatre students this year.
You can become a Theatre Booster by attending monthly meetings and
by supporting the various theatre fundraisers.
New this
year is the opportunity to become a Theatre Patron by making a
donation to the theatre boosters. Any donation of $25 or more
entitles the donor to two complimentary tickets to the fall or
winter productions or any theatre class showcase.
Booster
meetings are usually held the first Tuesday of the month in the
library.
If you are available to help throughout the
school year, would be able to work a Bengals game, or would like to
become a theatre patron by making a donation, please contact any
board member or Mrs. Kathy Beiting, Thespian sponsor -

The 2006-2007 Theatre Booster officers are President – Mickey Wichard,
Vice-President – Stella Adams, Treasurer – Carol Glaser, Secretary –
Jackie Straka.

The Theatre
Boosters would like to thank everyone who has shown an interest in
the theatre program by becoming a Theatre Patron. The students will
benefit greatly from your donations. It is still possible to become
a Theatre Patron by sending your donation to school, c/o Kathy
Beiting, Thespian Troop Sponsor.

Booster Meeting:
December 13th @ 6:30 p.m.
at El Ranchito. Parents of all
thespians, theatre students and anyone involved in theatre
productions (including freshmen) are invited and encouraged to
attend. We look forward to seeing you!
